Goolwa Airport has been granted development approval to upgrade to Residential Airpark status. Allotments are situated on the East, West and South sides of the airport grounds

Sold to the public, these large allotments enable aircraft enthusiasts to build a normal residential home with a separate (or integrated) hangar, with taxiway access from their own backyard to the runway. With shops, cafe’s and the beach minutes away, Goolwa is a perfect place to live.

Similar to a marina..but with a runway instead of channels.

The development has a community title so that once all allotments have been sold the owners would own and be responsible for the residential areas of the airfield (Community Titles Act 1996).

Because a resident owns a share of the airport, their total investment with a house, hangar and probably an aircraft is going to be quite substantial so encumbrances are in place to ensure a quality development.
